Mission International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) started after the Taliban regime was forced out of Afghanistan.

Goal is to help the Afghan gouverment to maintain safety for the people of Afghanistan. Dutch troops are working on the rebuilding of the country by rebuilding roads and bridges, reinstalling police forces etc.
The main Dutch contribution is the Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) in the province of Uruzgan. The PRT is part of Task Force Uruzgan.
Photographers of the Audiovisual Defense Department captured the live and work of the soldiers during the ISAF mission.
